Sharjah Kerala Samajam is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political cultural organization of people from Kerala, the southern state of India.
We are working for the betterment of social lifestyle of the Keralites in the United Arab Emirates.
Our motto itself is expressing our vision towards the empowerment of society as "Love & Share".
Established in the year 2010 in Sharjah with around 20 members and their families residing in Sharjah, Dubai and Ajman.
We have a Women's Wing which has over 100 active members and many inactive members under the organization.
We are focused on cultural and social events. Our main activities include celebrations of Keralite festivals, cultural events, arts & sports events, picnics, family get-togethers, charity works etc.
The aim of those events are to provide a stage for the members and their families, especially the children to perform their talents.
Also it has an aim of spreading the culture and heritage of Kerala to the people living in UAE.
We are always at the forefront in offering help and assistance in times of humanitarian needs.
We have forged a special relationship with Sharjah Indian Association.
We also co-operate with other like-minded organizations in activities of common interests, including cultural and social aspects of Keralites in UAE.
To provide a forum for its members to meet and exchange views and to foster social activities.
To integrate our tradition and culture through our activities and events and to memorize our days back at home.
To recognize our members talents and skills and to provide a stage for them to enhance their skills.
To help and assist Keralite community living in UAE in times of humanitarian needs.
Extend hands to ensure and restore human dignity to suffering humanity.
Work for welfare initiatives of people in India and UAE.
Celebrate the festivals and events of Kerala (India).
Transmit our culture and heritage to our next generation.
Co-operate with similar associations to exchange ideas, views and opinions in order to work together focusing the common ethics.
Providing social service and assistance to the community.
